I’ve seen Everton win a league title and an FA Cup; I saw them beat Liverpool after seven long years in the Andy King derby; and I was at White Hart Lane for the Neville Southall Show in 1985. But the glory game is overrated.In March 1994, Everton went to Anfield with eight of the 22 teams in the Premier League below them. Dave Watson even opened the scoring against Liverpool, but that served only as a cue for boyhood Everton fans Ian Rush and Robbie Fowler to do what they did so often.
