The points were shared at Turf Moor on Wednesday evening as Burnley and Leicester played out a 1-1 draw in the Premier League.
The visitors started poorly and Burnley took advantage of their sloppiness, with Matej Vydra firing home his first Premier League goal of the season after four minutes. Leicester didn't improve too much after that, but a moment of brilliance ensured they went into half time level when Kelechi Iheanacho fired home a wicked volley after 34 minutes.
The intensity levels dropped off somewhat after the break and while Leicester looked more settled, Burnley peppered Kasper Schmeichel's goal.
The Foxes grew into the game after Burnley failed to score while on top, and proceedings were end to end in the final 10 minutes. Youri Tielemans' deflected effort smashed off the post after 84 minutes, however, which was as close as either side got as the game ended level.
Right then, those player ratings.
Burnley player ratings
1. Goalkeeper & Defenders
Nick Pope (GK) - 5/10 - Pulled off a smart save early on to deny Hamza Choudhury from close range, but was caught in no man's land for the equaliser.
Matthew Lowton (RB) - 6/10 - Did well to limit the advances of Timothy Castagne and got forward when needed also.
James Tarkowski (CB) - 7/10 - Almost regained the lead for his side after 38 minutes with a header from close range. Kept Jamie Vardy entirely out of the game and dominated his box, winning four aerial duels.
Ben Mee (CB) - 5/10 - Perhaps could've tracked Iheanacho in the lead up to the equaliser, but was never stopping the goal realistically.
Charlie Taylor (LB) - 7/10 - Always well positioned and managed to whip in a few nice crosses to help out McNeil on occasion. Impressed defensively in the second half.
Josh Brownhill (RM) - 6/10 - Played some tidy passes but, importantly, pressed well and worked incredibly hard for his side.
Ashley Westwood (CM) - 6/10 - Quiet until he rattled the post on the half volley just after the hour mark. Mightily unlucky not to have scored.
Jack Cork (CM) - 7/10 - Tireless presence for Burnley and orchestrated the press to perfection in the first half. Equally as impressive after the break; always an option for teammates to pass to due to his good positioning.
Dwight McNeil (LM) - 6/10 - Worked space well and whipped in a wicked cross towards the end of the opening 45 minutes.
Matej Vydra (ST) - 7/10 - Took his goal extremely well after just four minutes; incredible confidence for a man who hadn't scored in the league this season up until now.
Chris Wood (ST) - 6/10 - Made Schmeichel's life hell by continually standing on him from set pieces and worked the goalkeeper with a number of strikes on goal.
Jay Rodriguez - N/A.
Leicester City player ratings
5. Goalkeeper & Defenders
Kasper Schmeichel (GK) - 8/10 - Kept his side in the game. Did well to bypass Chris Wood's best efforts of swarming him and got down well to deny James Tarkowski's header towards half time. Continually dealt with a never-ending supply of crosses, making six important saves.
Daniel Amartey (CB) - 5/10 - Never drastically out of position or anything, but didn't make his mark on the game either.
Wilfred Ndidi (CB) - 6/10 - Could do little to salvage a horrendous back pass that resulted in the opener. Sensational assist under pressure to find Iheanacho.
Caglar Soyuncu (CB) - 5/10 - A nightmare first half saw Soyuncu ill-positioned and continually slipping to the floor. Boots on the wrong feet, but picked it up after the break and improved.
6. Wing Backs & Midfielders
Ricardo Pereira (RWB) - 6/10 - Ricardo had to wait patiently to find attacking avenues and found space to burst forward as the game grew on. Fired slightly over after 70 minutes.
Nampalys Mendy (CM) - 5/10 - Was too careful in possession which stifled Leicester's attacks down the centre. Pedestrian.
Hamza Choudhury (CM) - 4/10 - A costly, early error set the tone for a woeful first 45 minutes. Recovered a little later on, but never offered his side much at all.
Youri Tielemans (CM) - 6/10 - Didn't see enough of the ball to truly cause problems in the first half, but looked a big threat whenever he had possession. Frustrating shift.
Timothy Castagne (LWB) - 5/10 - Delivered the cross to Choudhury after 11 minutes and deserved an assist for his efforts. Quiet after the break, though, and had to dig in defensively for quite some time.
Jamie Vardy (ST) - 5/10 - With zero service, the first half passed Vardy by completely. Found pockets as Burnley tired, but never given a real chance to work Nick Pope.
Kelechi Iheanacho (ST) - 7/10 - The Nigerian dragged his side level with an incredibly well-taken volley. So sweet.
Wesley Fofana - 6/10 - Immediately improved Leicester following his introduction with better quality and more swift passing out from the back.
Marc Albrighton - 6/10 - Similarly to Fofana, Albrighton immediately made his presence felt and put his side on the front foot as soon as he came on.
Sidnei Tavares - N/A - Premier League debut for the 19-year-old. Nice.
