Many of the twenty two teams competing in the 100th Tour De France have been having conferences today.
Some chose to use their team hotels on the island of Corsica in the Porto Vecchio area, whilst other opted to use the Mega Smeralda ship, belonging to Sardinian Ferries which was hosting the media centre whilst on the island.
Dutch side Belkin, who announced a new sponsorship deal with the electronics company on Monday, replacing their Blanco name which they had since the start of the season, following the much publicised withdrawal of Rabbobank, were the first to have a press conference.
The team are going for the General Classification with their team built around Bauke Mollema and were expecting 'stages in Corsica to be stressful as the roads are pretty narrow'.
