World number 42 Marcos Baghdatis has pulled out of the Olympics through injury.
The 31-year-old Cypriot, a former Australian Open finalist, was hoping to appear at his third Games in Rio but has not been able to overcome an elbow problem.
He wrote on Facebook: "The news with regard to my left elbow injury is bad I am afraid. The pain is still there niggling and does not go away.
"It is therefore with great sadness that I now announce my withdrawal from the Cyprus Olympic Team."
