Premier League football is back, baby. Jose Mourinho is back, baby. Manchester United's banter era.? Never left, baby.
The Special One
Goalkeepers & Defenders
Tim Krul (GK) - What do you mean Norwich kept a clean sheet? The Canaries kept out the opposition for just the second time this season, with Krul pulling out all the stops to deny the likes of Cenk Tosun, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Richarlison in their 2-0 win at Everton.
Ricardo Pereira (RB) - Rule of thumb - if Trent Alexander-Arnold wasn't the best performing right-back on any given week, it's probably Ricardo Pereira instead. The Portuguese defender was up to the task again as Leicester picked up a comfortable 2-0 win at Brighton.
James Tarkowski (CB) - A goal and a clean sheet on a perfect day for James Tarkowski at Watford, where Burnley weathered the storm to earn a 3-0 victory. The England defender will be looking to force his way back into the international fold, and displays like this will certainly help
Ryan Bertrand (LB) - Putting in a solid display at Arsenal isn't much of a feat nowadays (unless you're an Arsenal player), but Bertrand was in top form during the Saints' 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium. Providing an assist thanks to some quick thinking early on, the left-back was a constant menace as Southampton picked up a valuable point, and should have taken all three.
Midfielders
Joao Moutinho (CM) - Turned out to be a big week for Premier League players taking quick free kicks, eh? The ever-reliable Joao Moutinho scored straight from one at Bournemouth, before teeing up Adama Traore's cross for Raul Jimenez's goal while the Cherries were sleeping.
Conor Hourihane (CM) - Ahhh! All the free kicks! One goal and one assist for Conor Hourihane! The Irishman snuck one in at Martin Dubravka's near post before crossing for Anwar El Ghazi in Villa's 2-0 win.
Dele Alli (AM) - While Dele Alli admits that he blamed himself initially for Mauricio Pochettino's departure, it seemingly didn't take him long to get over it, putting in a vintage display under new boss Mourinho. West Ham didn't have an answer for him as he ran Spurs' attack between the lines, and grabbed one of the more memorable pre-assists this season.
Forwards
Son Heung-min (RW) - Alli ran the show, but Son made the decisive difference at London Stadium, scoring the first goal of the Mourinho era before crossing for Lucas Moura. He just loves a goal against West Ham, doesn't he?
Alexandre Lacazette (CF) - You can put it down to his coolness or his style, but we like to think Lacazette's lack of celebration for either goal he scored against Southampton simply because he realised it keeps Unai Emery in a job just that little bit longer. Rivalries aside, that is class.
Todd Cantwell (LW) - Surfing his way back into the headlines this weekend was everyone's favourite babyface. After being dropped by Daniel Farke before the international break, Cantwell proved he has what it takes to help lead Norwich's fight against the drop, bagging their opener at Goodison Park.
