Simply known as Falcao, he is widely considered to be one of the best strikers in the world.

Starting his success with Porto FC, he guided them to a second Europa League title, as well as going a whole season unbeaten. Falcao scored two goals in the Europa League Final, to add to his ever increasing tally of goals to game ratio in Europe. Falcao is the only player in history to win two consecutive Europa League titles with two different teams. In his debut season at Atletico Madrid , Falcao had scored a record of 36 goals for Atletico Madrid, the highest amount by any player in a first season playing for Atletico Madrid.

Falcao scored two hat-tricks at the start of the 2012-13 season; first in the La Liga game against 2011–12 Europa League finalists Athletic Bilbao and second against Chelsea, with Atlético winning 2012 UEFA Super Cup with a 4–1. Regarding his recent efforts, Falcao has been linked with a big money move to European Champions, the team he single handedly destroyed, Chelsea FC.

Falcao proved the star turn in the final UEFA Super Cup to be played in Monaco as his first-half hat-trick shot down the European champions. The Colombia international scored all three goals in a mesmerizing first half, as well as hitting the post twice. It was his second hat-trick in five days, after scoring three times in a 4-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao on Monday.
