Danny Rose fit for Mansfield ahead of Exeter clash

Danny Rose is fit for Mansfield as they prepare to host fellow play-off contenders Exeter.

The striker was withdrawn as a precaution last weekend at Morecambe, where he scored twice in a 3-1 win for the Stags, having only recently returned from a hamstring injury and he is likely to retain his place in the starting line-up.

Captain Lee Collins and fellow defender Krystian Pearce both travelled to Morecambe but did not feature in the match day squad. They will have their minor injuries assessed and could be back in contention again on Saturday.

George Taft, Alfie Potter, James Baxendale, Yoann Arquin, CJ Hamilton and Jamie McGuire are options for Mansfield manager Steve Evans, whose side go into the game one point and two places behind Exeter who currently occupy the final play-off spot.

Exeter are set to be without regulars Craig Woodman and Jake Taylor.

Woodman suffered a broken arm in Exeter's remarkable 3-3 draw with Yeovil last weekend and skipper Jordan Moore-Taylor could switch to left-back with Luke Croll coming in to central defence.

Taylor's shin injury is less severe, but he is also likely to miss out and David Wheeler is set to return to the starting line-up.

Reuben Reid could also start after coming off the bench to score the dramatic equaliser against Yeovil, Exeter scoring three times from the 88th minute onwards to snatch a point and stay in the play-off positions.
