Paul McCallum could return for Leyton Orient against Hartlepool

Leyton Orient could have Paul McCallum back for the Sky Bet League Two clash with Hartlepool.

McCallum (knee) has returned to training and could come into contention as the Os search for a victory that would keep their survival hopes alive.

Tom Parkes will again be missing as he serves the final game of his suspension for his dismissal against Wycombe.

Defender Dan Happe will be assessed after hobbling off against Cambridge and Myles Judd continues to be assessed along with Nigel Atangana.

Hartlepool boss Dave Jones may be forced to hand Carl Magnay a starting berth at the Matchroom Stadium after making only his second appearance in six months.

Full-back Magnay replaced Kenton Richardson after 37 minutes in the 1-1 draw against against Carlisle and the 17-year-old remains doubtful for relegation clash with an ankle knock.

Striker Billy Paynter, goalkeeper Trevor Carson and defender Rob Jones are all out for the rest of the season with Achilles, shoulder and knee injuries respectively while Fulham loanee Sean Kavanagh is unlikely to feature with a hamstring problem.

Pools sit one point above the drop zone with four games to play but if Orient fail to win, they will be relegated to the Vanarama National League.
