Glenn Hoddle says Southampton can now eclipse Manchester United in the race for a Champions League spot - and if they do boss Ronald Koeman would be Manager of the Year! After watching Saints record their first win in the Premier League era at Old Trafford, Hoddle said the other Champions League spots looked booked by Chlesea, Macnhester City and Arsenal. And he said
“Yes, its possible that Southampton will stay in the top four,” Hoddle said. “If this team finish in the top four, and it is a possibility, a strong possibility, then yes I would think Ronald Koeman would be a top candidate for Manager of the Year. I think he would be manager of the year – even above the manager who ultimately wins the Premier League."
