Zesh Rehman doubtful for Gillingham

Gillingham will check on the fitness of centre-half Zesh Rehman (hamstring) ahead of the visit of Bristol Rovers.

Chris Herd could be back in contention following his knee problem which would bolster the Gills defensive options as they look to end a five-match winless run.

Midfielder Bradley Dack serves out his two-match ban.

Scott Wagstaff continues his recovery from an Achilles problem along with defender Bradley Garmston (hamstring), while Aaron Morris (knee) a long-term absentee.

Rovers head to Kent knowing that victory would keep them in the play-off picture, but manager Darrell Clarke has reported a few knocks sustained during last weekend's win at AFC Wimbledon.

Clarke will run the rule over his squad leading into Friday's game, which is followed by an Easter Monday appointment with Oldham.

Midfielder Ollie Clarke will be among those on the manager's list after he missed the Wimbledon game following an injury suffered in the previous match against Shrewsbury.

And defender Peter Hartley has yet to return to action after being sidelined since January due to a foot injury.
