Emerson Hyndman: Managerial change has not confused Rangers players

Rangers midfielder Emerson Hyndman insists there is no confusion in the Ibrox ranks.

Inverness boss Richie Foran claimed Caley Thistle could be facing a "fragile" Rangers on Friday night and predicted there would be some confusion among his opponents following the departure of Mark Warburton as manager.

But Hyndman has praised caretaker boss Graeme Murty for his work in settling down the squad and claims the game plan remains clear.

"He has been tremendous since he came in," the on-loan Bournemouth midfielder said.

"Obviously it's a tough position for him. Anyone who steps into that kind of role at this size of a club, it's tough.

"But he has been very comfortable in his role and as a team it helps when the guy leading you is comfortable in his role. It's been good so far, he has taken training really well and I have enjoyed having him in charge."

Rangers lost 2-1 at Dundee in Murty's first Ladbrokes Premiership game in charge.

Hyndman said: "He didn't change too much, he just fixed a couple of things he felt needed a little bit of clarification or structure. It was a similar game plan.

"We went into it pretty much the same but with little differences here and there, so it wasn't too confusing at all."
