Chelsea seal the deal for top Man United Target

Latest reports from The Sun suggest that Chelsea have agreed a three-year deal with Manchester United’s top target Leonardo Bonucci.

The 29-year-old from Serie A champions Juventus has won 5 consecutive titles, including three under, the new Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte. Currently playing for Italy at Euro 2016, they are yet to concede a goal, making him a vital piece in the heart of the Italian defence.

According to The Sun, Conte is extremely eager to get the 59-cap Italian international to west London and Chelsea have already signed a three-year contract that will see Bonucci take home around £130k per-week.

The Blues’ £32 million bid is a tempting offer for Juventus, and has seen them see off interest from fellow admirers Manchester United.

As it stands, it appears that Mourinho is being overshadowed by his former club in the race for the Italian international’s signature.
