Smith may wait for Arbroath return

Leaders Arbroath are without Dylan Carreiro against Berwick Rangers as the Canadian has returned to Dundee after the end of his loan deal.

Jack Smith has shaken off a foot injury however he may have to be content with a substitute role after Paul McManus scored twice in a substitute role in the 3-2 success over East Stirling last Saturday.

Manager Allan Moore said: "I watched Berwick Rangers win at Albion Rovers recently and I was impressed.

"They are a hard working side that do not give much away and we will need to up our game from last weekend if we are to win."

Berwick head to Gayfield with a sense of frustration however they are without defender Stephen Tulloch, who continues to recover from a fractured cheekbone, and winger Ross Gray who picked up a knee injury in a bounce game.

The Borderers' sense of frustration comes from last Saturday's game at Elgin being called off.

Boss Colin Cameron said: "We had beaten Clyde 4-0 in the league and Albion Rovers 1-0 in the Scottish Cup and our next game could not come quick enough. Having the game postponed was a disappointment.

"Hopefully we can put that disappointment to good use by getting something from our trip to Arbroath."
