Kevin Reza of, FDJ, Ignatas Konovalovas of Team Marseille 13 KTM, Daryl Impey of Orica GreenEdge, Pieter Serry of Etixx - Quick-Step, Romain Combaud of Equipe Cycliste de l'Amee de Terre, Damiano Caruso of BMC and Arnaud Gerard of Bretagne-Séché Environnement rounded out the top ten.
British rider Simon Yates of Orica GreenEdge finished 65th, his brother Adam was 80th whilst Hugh Carthy of Caja Rural failed to finish.
