Middlesex spinner Ollie Rayner has signed a new two-year deal to remain at Lord's until the end of the 2018 season.
The 30-year-old has taken almost 200 wickets for Middlesex since joining from Sussex in 2011, 35 of which have helped his side open up a 26-point lead at the top of Specsavers County Championship Division One.
Middlesex managing director of cricket Angus Fraser said: " Ollie continues to be an extremely valuable member of our side and I am delighted he will spend at least the next two years of his career at Lord's.
"Ollie is a popular figure and has a lot to offer the club, both on and off the field, as it moves forward.
"He is having an excellent season with the ball, is capable of scoring first-class hundreds and is as good a slip fielder as I have seen.
"I look forward to working with him for many years to come."
