Chris Rogers faced the Australia pace attack with no ill-effects in the Edgbaston nets on Monday morning as he bids to prove his fitness for the third Ashes Test.
Rogers has undergone a series of tests to ascertain the cause of the dizzy spell which forced him to retire hurt early on the fourth and final day of the tourists' series-levelling victory at Lord's last week.
None of the tests have revealed a serious problem, and Cricket Australia has cited a balance problem in his inner ear after he was hit on the helmet by a short ball from James Anderson in his first-innings 173 in the second Test.
Rogers sat out the three-day tour match at Derby, where Shaun Marsh - who replaced him in the Caribbean when he was suffering with concussion last month - made a century from his one attempt in a rain-affected draw.
