Former Glamorgan captain Barry Lloyd has died at the age of 63.
Lloyd made his Glamorgan debut in 1973 and took 311 wickets, including 247 in first-class cricket, before retiring at the end of the 1984 season.
The Neath-born spinner shared captaincy duties with Pakistan batsman Javed Miandad in 1982.
Lloyd later played for the Wales Minor Counties side and his daughter Hannah represented the England Women's one-day team.
He continued to play Welsh league cricket on a regular basis for Pontarddulais until 2010 and died after a short illness.
"Barry was one of the first captains I played under in championship cricket for Glamorgan," chief executive Hugh Morris told the official club website.
"He was hugely supportive of the young Welsh players in the squad and always wore the daffodil with pride.
"His passing is very sad news for us here at Glamorgan cricket as well as for the wider cricket community in Wales, especially Pontarddulais."
