Father Time will return to Lord's on Thursday morning - albeit to the MCC Museum rather than his usual position above the Mound Stand clock.
The weathervane, which was blown over by strong winds a fortnight ago, will feature as an exhibit in the museum while the club waits for specialists to repair the copper damage sustained during the incident.
This will be Father Time's first visit to the museum, and presents an opportunity for visitors on a Lord's tour to see the weathervane up close.
The MCC said it was hopeful of restoring Father Time to his original position in the near future.
