Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has spoken of his desire to add some younger players to his squad this summer.
The Eagles currently have the oldest squad in the Premier League, with star winger Wilfried Zaha set to turn 28 this year.
Indeed, just three players aged 25 or under have started in the league for Hodgson's side, during a campaign in which they sat 11th in the table before the Premier League was suspended.
Speaking on Sky Sports' The Football Show, Hodgson confirmed that he was looking to address this dilemma by adding some fresh faces in the coming transfer window.
"We have a very strong base with lots of good players," said Hodgson.
"But if we could find a way to add a few more younger ones to that squad, a few new faces, that would inject some new blood while keeping the nucleus of the squad then I'd be very confident next season of improving on the results of the last two and three seasons."
The veteran manager went on to stress his satisfaction with how his current crop of players have performed of the past few years.
"I've got a very good group of players - a very experienced group of players," continued Hodgson.
"They definitely know what they are good at and know what they need to be good at to win matches and keep the club in the league, which is always our major consideration."

As for Hodgson's own future at Crystal Palace, the 72-year-old manager confirmed that he still felt up to the challenge at the club after signing a contract extension that will keep him there until 2021.
"My dream these days is about doing the job to the level I want to do it at, and this extension gives me the opportunity to do that," the former England boss asserted.
