The 2020 MLB season is going to be weird and downright crazy. Considering that it's occurring during the coronavirus pandemic, the league had no choice in the matter. Between the 60-game campaign and starting the 10th inning with a runner on second, it's all in the interest to prevent injuries and the spread of COVID-19. To account for all of that, the league has allowed all 30 teams to have a 60-man player pool, which will consist of starters, bench options, and prospects, with the latter.
