Leonid Slutsky saves 2020 with pitch perfect All I Want for Christmas Is You cover

Right, I know Christmas is over, but do I have the most amazing gift for you.

Christmas songs are one of the most divisive parts of the festive season, and Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas Is You usually polarises more than most. It either gets you wanting to dance or wanting to rip your own ears off.

You might not like that version, but how about former Hull City boss Leonid Slutsky's rendition?

Don't worry, we've got no idea what's going on either.

Slutsky somehow manages to get his Rubin Kazan squad to join in with the celebrations, donning their ugliest Christmas outfits and throwing out their finest dad-dancing moves to create a memorable end to a memorable year.

The video ends with Slutsky taking a bite out of a VAR cookie and dreaming of winning the Russian Premier League title - something which is probably going to have to stay a dream as Rubin are already 13 points behind Zenit in the standings.

It looks like Slutsky is living his best life back in Russia and has banished the ghosts from a six-month spell with Hull which ended in disaster for everyone involved.

Slutsky joined the Tigers in June 2017 at a time when being associated with Hull was a poisoned chalice. The club's owners shipped out countless first-team stars and left Slutsky with little to no help to keep the club afloat.

He was given the boot after just 177 days, but he's clearly rediscovered the spring in his step since joining Rubin in 2019.
