Leeds United are hoping to seal an audacious double swoop for Rennes forward Raphinha and Norwich's England Under-21 international Todd Cantwell before Monday's transfer deadline.

The Whites have been looking to add to their squad going into the final days of the window, with a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Michaël Cuisance having already collapsed after the Frenchman failed a medical.

Cantwell himself is also looking to move on from Norwich, whose youth system he came through, with Daniel Farke leaving him out of successive matchday squads as a result of transfer speculation having unsettled the winger.

It now looks as if Cantwell will be granted his wish of a move, with Football Insider reporting that Leeds have tabled a significant bid for the attacker.

Leeds are set to discuss the possible purchase of Cantwell with the Canaries, and their bid of £15m for the 22-year-old would be in line with Norwich's valuation of £15-20m for the attacker's services.

The player himself is keen to join Marcelo Bielsa's side, and with all parties looking to make the deal happen an important breakthrough has been made in negotiations.

Cantwell could well be joining another talented young forward at Leeds, with Sportitalia journalist Gianlugi Longari revealing that the club have completed the signing of Rennes winger Raphinha,

The Brazilian, who plays on the right for Rennes and racked up five goals and three assists for them last season, will join in a deal worth a potential €23m.

Raphinha would be Leeds' fourth new first-team recruit this summer, joining Rodrigo, Robin Koch and Diego Llorente in what has been a busy few months for the club.
