Jarrod Bowen Set for West Ham Medical as Irons Eye 3 Deadline Day Signings

Hull City star Jarrod Bowen is reported to be pencilled in for a lunchtime medical with West Ham, as David Moyes' side aim to recruit the winger in addition to two further deadline day signings.

Bowen has been one of the Championship's leading performers in recent seasons and has scored 16 goals in 29 appearances in the division so far. It's an impressive record, and one that has led to no shortage of interest in his signature.

90min exclusively reported on interest in his signature from Newcastle and Bournemouth in December, although the Magpies are thought to have given up their interest after being 'unimpressed' with the winger.

The latest from The Athletic's David Ornstein, however, is that the 23-year-old prefers a move to West Ham, who have agreed a deal worth £14m and a further £22m in add-ons with Hull over a January move.

Crystal Palace were also said to be a strong contender for his signature, but he is expected to undergo a lunchtime medical at the London Stadium ahead of the move being completed.

Meanwhile The Mirror say that Bowen isn't the only signing they are pursuing on what is expected to be a busy deadline day for the Irons.

They report that the plan is to recruit a right-back, a midfielder and a forward before the 11pm deadline, meaning that there could be two further signings made by the club.

They have already added Darren Randolph and Tomas Soucek to their ranks and are reported to be keen on RB Salzburg striker Rasmus Kristensen, while are thought to have been quoted £18m for Nottingham Forest right-back Matty Cash.

In any case it seems we are in for a grandstand finish to the month in East London.
