British Swimmers Honoured At The Splash Awards

This weekend the British Swimming team, powered by British Gas swapped their swimsuits for sparkles to gather at the prestigious Hurlingham Club to celebrate the aquatic achievements and talent across all six disciplines in 2010 at the Splash Awards.
The Splash Awards are the creation of Britain's most decorated female swimmer, Karen Pickering MBE, who since her retirement has worked relentlessly to celebrate the achievements and raise the profile of British swimmers and other aquatic sportsmen and women.

British Gas Disability Swimmer of the Year - Eleanor Simmonds
Diver of the Year – Tom Daley
Waterpolo Performance of the Year – Angela Winstanley-Smith
Synchronised Swimmer of the Year – Jenna Randall
Open Water Swimmer of the Year – Tom Allen
Splash Star 2010 (Celebrity Award) – Shelagh Fogharty
Lifetime Achievement Award – Duncan Goodhew MBE
