Second seed Sam Stosur survived a scare to claim a place in the final of the Nurnberger Gastein Ladies tournament in Austria.
The Australian reeled off the last five games in succession to avoid being taken to a deciding set by Anna Karolina Schmiedlova, prevailing 6-1 7-5 in her semi-final.
She will face either top seed Sara Errani or third seed Karin Knapp in Sunday afternoon's final after the second semi-final was postponed due to rain.
