Defending men's champion Novak Djokovic and seven-time winner Roger Federer will both line up on Centre Court on the opening day of Wimbledon.

As he begins his quest to complete three Wimbledon triumphs in a row, Serbian Djokovic has the customary honour of beginning play on the main show court at 1pm on Monday as he tackles Great Britain's James Ward.

Spanish second seed Garbine Muguruza, who was runner-up to Serena Williams in the women's singles last year, follows the match between Djokovic and Ward as she tackles Italian Camila Giorgi, before Swiss Federer plays Argentinian Guido Pella.

Andy Murray starts his title bid on Tuesday, which is also when Williams sets out in pursuit of a seventh championship.

Court One on Monday sees five-time champion Venus Williams face Donna Vekic and Kei Nishikori takes on Sam Groth, before Britain's former Wimbledon girls' champion Laura Robson goes head to head with Germany's current Australian Open title holder Angelique Kerber.

British number three Kyle Edmund is handed an early Court Two slot, starting play at 11.30am against France's Adrian Mannarino.
