There are just two seeds left standing in the Claro Open Colsanitas after Lourdes Dominguez Lino and Anna Tatishvili were both knocked out in the second round.
Seventh seed Dominguez Lino lost 0-6 6-2 6-3 to Sachia Vickery in Bogota while eighth seed Tatishvili lost 5-6 (5/7) 6-4 6-1 to Silvia Soler-Espinosa.
Lara Arruabarrena and Irina Falconi, seeded fourth and fifth respectively, are the only seeds left in the last eight.
In Thursday's other second-round games, Alexandra Panova beat qualifier Conny Perrin 7-6 (9/7) 7-6 (9/7), while Perrin's fellow Swiss Amra Sadikovic saw off Rebecca Peterson 6-4 6-4.
