19-year-old Laura Robson has reportedly confirmed her participation for the WTA's event to be held in Hobart, Australia in January next year.
Robson, who peaked to her career-best ranking of number 27 in July this year, had lost in the first round of the tournament in 2013, going down to American Sloane Stephens in straight sets.
According to the field announced by the tournament organizers on Wednesday, Samantha Stosur will headline the draws; while the other big names include Venus Williams and Kirsten Flipkens.
At the forefront of this event in Hobart, which is scheduled to kick-off on January 5, Robson will feature in Auckland a week before.
