Briton Kyle Edmund advanced to his first ATP Tour quarter-final with victory over Daniel Munoz De La Nava of Spain in Doha on Wednesday.
The Beverley player, who turns 21 on Friday, lost the opening set of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open round of 16 tie, but responded to go through 5-7 6-3 7-6 (7/3).
Edmund will play world number six Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic in the last eight on Thursday.
