Federico Delbonis continued his fine recent form by claiming the King Hassan II title with a straight sets win over Croatian teenager Borna Coric in Marrakech.

Appearing in his first tour final in almost two years, the Argentinian had too much for his gutsy opponent and broke three times on his way to completing a 6-2 6-4 victory.

The 25-year-old's victory on clay came less than a month after he beat world number two Andy Murray in the third round at Indian Wells.

Coric was looking to win his first tour title in his second final but he was broken twice in the opener and failed to make any inroads on the Delbonis serve.

Despite a stronger effort in the second set his opponent's experience kept him at bay and Delbonis duly completed victory in just short of one and a half hours.
