Zhvania pens first Stade Francais deal

Georgian international prop Zurabi Zhvania has signed his first professional contract with Stade Francais, the French Top 14 side confirmed on Friday.

The 23-year-old Zhvania, who has 13 caps, penned a four-year deal.

Zhvania has played nine Top 14 games this season scoring three tries, and particularly impressed during the Parisians' 43-30 success at Grenoble on December 19.

Centre Matthieu Ugena, 19, and Paul Gabrillagues, 21, also signed their first contracts with the youth team, for two and two-and-a-half years respectively.

French international lock Alexandre Flanquart, 25, who also learned his trade at Stade Francais, on Thursday extended his contract until 2018.
