Fijian-born New Zealand wing Waisake Naholo has agreed a two-year deal with Top 14 club Clermont, the French club announced on Wednesday.

Brought up in New Zealand, where he won the under-20 World Cup sevens title with the 'Baby Blacks', he has won 37 caps at that level for his adopted country.

He will join Clermont from Super Rugby outfit Highlanders for the next two seasons, with an option for a further year, and is set to replace Julien Malzieu, who is on his way to Montpellier.

Naholo becomes the third signing for Clermont, who are currently top of the Top 14 table, following South African-born full-back Scott Spedding and second row forward Flip Van Der Merwe.
