Duncan Hodge has urged his Edinburgh players to repay fans for their loyal support during a difficult campaign as he prepares for his last home match in charge.

Edinburgh are looking to avoid a 10th consecutive defeat when they host the Dragons at Myreside on Friday night.

The Scottish capital side are consigned to a bottom-four finish in the Guinness PRO12 but they could slip further down when they host their 10th-placed visitors, while bottom two Treviso and Zebre are still to play each other and are both within striking distance.

Acting head coach Hodge, who will be replaced by Richard Cockerill in the summer, said: "We see tomorrow night's match as a big opportunity to make amends for recent results.

"With this being our final home game of the season, we're also looking for a big performance to repay the fans. They have been with us every step of the way through a testing campaign and this is an opportunity for us all to thank them for their continued support."

Hodge has made four changes. Centre Junior Rasolea comes in while George Turner makes his first start of the season at hooker, with Allan Dell joining him in the front row. Ben Toolis returns from illness in the second row while John Hardie could make his comeback from injury off the bench.
