Gregor Hunter set to make his full Glasgow debut

Gregor Hunter will make his first start for Glasgow in Friday night's clash with Ulster.

The former Edinburgh player signed for Warriors in the summer of 2014 but a cruciate ligament injury derailed his impact.

He came off the bench against Munster earlier this season though and has now been given his full debut against the Guinness Pro12 leaders.

Hunter starts at fly-half alongside Ali Price, with scrum-halves Mike Blair (concussion) and Henry Pyrgos (wrist) unavailable.

Five Scotland players have been released for the encounter at the Kingspan Stadium. Pat MacArthur has been included in the front row while Alex Allan, Josh Strauss, Chris Fusaro and Peter Horne start on the bench.

Head coach Gregor Townsend said: "Gregor Hunter has worked really hard in training this season and has been playing regularly for Glasgow Hawks, so we're expecting him to play well in a Warriors shirt."
