France scrum half Morgan Parra will be out for around 10 weeks with a ruptured posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, his Top 14 club Clermont announced on Monday.
Parra was forced off in the 53rd minute of France's 20-13 defeat to Wales in the Six Nations on Saturday and underwent tests on Monday which revealed the extent of the injury.
He will now miss the rest of France's Six Nations campaign and Clermont's European Champions Cup quarter-final against Northampton on April 4.
