Beauden Barrett was the star of the show as the Hurricanes beat the Chiefs 25-9 in Wellington to reach their second consecutive Super Rugby final.

The New Zealand fly-half set up Willis Halaholo's seventh-minute try, kicked a penalty and then converted his own touchdown to help the Hurricanes into a 15-6 half-time lead.

Barrett then added the extras to Victor Vito's effort in the 48th-minute before kicking a penalty to down the Chiefs, whose points arrived from three Damian McKenzie penalties.
