Wigan have a tremendous FA Cup record against Manchester City in recent years, though since the last upset – the sixth round in 2014, not the 2013 final – the Latics have dropped another division while Pep Guardiola’s side have gone from strength to strength. It is hard to see a surprise result against the runaway Premier League leaders here, especially as Wigan’s promotion push has faltered over the past few days with two successive defeats.
