The Baloise Belgium Tour is a five-day stage race outside category (2.HC) from the UCI Europe Tour and thus one of the most prestigious multi-day cycling races in the Netherlands. The first edition of this glorious stage race dates back to 1908. The last two editions went to Jens Keukeleire. On Thursday, June 13, the second stage of the Baloise Belgium Tour 2019 will start in Knokke-Heist and finish in Zottegem. All details about the pacours will be announced later, but it is certain that this ride will call at all the municipalities of Zottegem. Of course, some legendary peaks and cobbled strips from the Flemish Ardennes – including the Berendries and the Paddestraat – should not be allowed to break. It is also certain that there will be two local rounds in Zottegem. In this way, the Zottegem can fully enjoy this cycling spectacle.
