Exclusive - Sheffield United are facing a battle to keep hold of England Under-18 starlet Daniel Jebbison, with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund both monitoring the youngster.

The 17-year-old has been attracting interest from a whole host of top clubs in recent months with Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton keeping a keen eye on his progress.

Jebbison was handed his Premier League debut in the Blades' 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace at Bramall Lane recently, coming on as a second-half substitute in place of Scotland international Oliver Burke.

The teenager is widely considered as one of the hottest prospects in the country and Sheffield United are naturally desperate to tie him down to a long-term deal, though that may be easier said than done given the calibre of sides harbouring an interest in him.

Sources have told 90min that recently crowned Bundesliga champions Bayern and fellow German top-flight outfit Dortmund are the latest to join the long list of clubs eyeing a potential move for Jebbison.

The Blades hope to retain the services of the 6ft 3in forward as they look to make an immediate return to the Premier League next season following their relegation to the Championship, though that will depend on who they appoint as manager, with Paul Heckingbottom currently in temporary charge at Bramall Lane.

Jebbison was born in Canada but has so far pledged his international allegiance to England. The youngster was handed his international debut with the England Under-18s earlier this year as they triumphed 2-0 over Wales in a friendly.

The Blades have just three games of the 2020/21 campaign remaining, and Heckingbottom may see the clashes with Everton, Newcastle and Burnley as an opportunity to afford Jebbison some time in the first team in a bid to convince him he'll be given regular football at the club next season.
