Mark Williams booked his place in the semi-finals of snooker's World Championship with a 13-5 victory over Mark Allen.
The world number three was leading 11-5 going into Wednesday morning's session at the Crucible in Sheffield and he quickly sealed the match by taking the opening two frames in less than an hour.
Williams will have to wait for the outcome of the quarter-final clash between Ronnie O'Sullivan and John Higgins, which is finely poised at 4-4, to find out who he will face for a place in the final.
Ahead of his first semi-final since 2003, Williams told World Snooker: "I don't like playing here in the first few rounds as there's not much space.
"But once it goes down to one table it's completely different and it becomes a real venue. It's been a long time since I've got to that stage.
"Which one do you want to play out of either Ronnie or Higgins? It will be nice to be watching them sweat it out knowing I can relax.
"I'm relaxed most of the time and I don't get butterflies, I just float around.
"It's only a snooker match and I will try 100 per cent to win but the worst thing that can happen is you lose and that's not too bad.
"It was a little bit scrappy this morning but overall I made some good clearances in the first eight frames.
"How I managed to be 5-3 up I never know but that probably hurt him (Allen) early on and I dominated from then on.
"It's easy to win when you knock in breaks of 60, 70 or 80 but the ones where you're under some pressure you have to make clearances and that wins you matches."
