Bath have completed the signing of winger Jacques Boussuge ahead of their Aviva Premiership opener against Leeds Carnegie on Sunday.
The Frenchman has impressed the club's management enough to be handed a one-year deal at The Recreation Ground.
Boussuge, 25, scored two tries in a trial game against Newbury to seal the move and chief executive Nick Blofeld believes he could prove to be a big hit this term.
Speaking to The Bath Chronicle, he said: "Jacques has accepted a contract and will be back in Bath in the next few days.
"The coaching team believe they can make him into an even better player and build on his existing talents. He's certainly got plenty of pace.
"Attitude goes a long way. He is massively enthusiastic about playing for Bath."
