Clement Poitrenaud is happy with the favourites tag placed on France ahead of the final round of Six Nations fixtures.
The Toulouse full-back is expected to be part of the side that hosts England in Paris on Saturday where anything other than a heavy defeat is likely to see them crowned 2010 champions.
Poitrenaud was part of the side that thrashed Italy 46-20 in Paris on Sunday.
"We have to consider ourselves favourite now," he declared. "We are hosting England in the final match for the Grand Slam.
"We're the only unbeaten team, so we will have to carry that favourites tag, but we're in good shape right now."
Meanwhile, number eight Imanol Harinordoquy is also upbeat about France's chances of a first Six Nations success since 2007.
"Before the match against Italy we didn't speak about the Grand Slam, so I think today we will speak about beating the English team," he said.
"If we beat England it will be an extraordinary thing, to win the Grand Slam."
