Rob Burrow and Brent Webb will miss Leeds' Super League game with Wakefield on Friday after failing to recover from injuries.
The pair picked up knocks in the last Saturday's Challenge Cup final defeat against Wigan and have not recovered in time to make the squad for the West Yorkshire showdown at Headingley.
Chris Clarkson is also missing for Brian McDermott's side, meaning the former Harlequins boss has handed recalls to Paul McShane and Zak Hardaker as well as former Wakefield man Jay Pitts.
The Rhinos were unfortunate not to win last week's final and McDermott is hoping his side can bounce back from the disappointment.
"There has been a fantastic response from the players this week in training following the disappointment of last week's result at Wembley," he told the Rhinos official website.
"In the immediate aftermath of the game, naturally everyone was feeling very low however the players focus has now quickly turned to our final two games of the league season and finishing as high as possible in the table for the play offs".
