Justin Morgan said his play-off chasing Hull KR players deserved "great credit" for Sunday's 24-22 win over St Helens.

The Craven Park outfit twice had to come from behind to seal a fourth successive home win over Saints and stay a point behind eighth-placed arch-rivals Hull FC.

The victory means the Robins must win their last two matches of the regular season against Catalan Dragons and Castleford to secure a top-eight spot.

Morgan was satisfied his players has made amends for their Challenge Cup humbling by St Helens and promised they would continue fighting until the final hooter.

"This was a massive game and a huge win for us," said Morgan. "To keep us very much in the hunt is something the players need to take great credit for.

"Saints beat us quite comfortably in the Challenge Cup so to turn that result around in a month is credit to them."
