Leeds Rhinos have been handed a double blow ahead of their pivotal Super League clash at Hull FC on Saturday.
Coach Brian McClennan is without Jamie Jones-Buchanan and Chris Clarkson after they picked up injuries during the disappointing 30-6 Challenge Cup final loss to Warrington Wolves last Saturday.
Jones-Buchanan suffered a foot problem, while Clarkson hurt his ankle and they will sit out of the clash at the KC Stadium.
Jamie Peacock and Luke Burgess are already in the Headingley treatment room and a defeat for the Rhinos would see the Airlie Birds rise above them and into fourth place ahead of the play-offs.
"It is disappointing for Jamie and Chris that they will miss out this week," McClennan said.
"However, that presents an opportunity for someone else. This is a big game for us and Hull and we know that we need to produce a quality performance."
