Leeds Rhinos' dismal start to the new season continued as they were beaten 17-10 at home by Hull KR.

Liam Colbon, Peter Fox and Shaun Briscoe all went over for the visitors in the first half at Headingley, before Rovers were forced to survive some heavy pressure after the restart.

Warrington Wolves missed a chance to go top of the Super League table as they lost 28-18 at St Helens, with Kyle Eastmond the start of the show with a try and six goals for a personal tally of 16 points in the game.

Gareth Thomas' debut for Crusaders was cut short by a head injury, but his side went on to clinch a 14-6 home success over Catalans Dragons thanks to tries from Jason Chan and Peter Lupton and three goals by Michael Witt.

Hull FC enjoyed an 18-6 win at home to Bradford Bulls, with Jordan Tansey's two tries just before and just after half-time proving decisive.
