The six Huddersfield Giants players arrested in January over allegations of rape have had their initial bail terms extended until April 16.
They had originally been handed bail conditions until March 18 following the incident in Gosforth, Newcastle on January 19.
A 22-year-old woman alleged she was raped in the early hours, with the Giants players on a team-building exercise while staying at the Gosforth Marriott Hotel in the north east city.
Northumbria police will not reveal the identities of the players unless charges are brought against them and a statement from the force read: "They have been rebailed until 16 April, and inquiries are ongoing."
Officials from the Giants have refused to release a further statement about the ongoing issue.
