Catalans Dragons have lost full-back Clint Greenshields for three months with a broken leg.
Greenshields, who missed only three games for the Super League club last season, was injured during Saturday's 20-16 defeat by Castleford Tigers.
The French club have won just one of their first six league games at the start of the new season and have already lost their regular half-back pairing of Adam Mogg and Thomas Bosc to injury.
"Clint's got his leg in plaster and he's going to be out for 10-12 weeks," explained coach Kevin Walters.
"Chris Walker is not too good either. He's going for a scan on his calf. I haven't thought too far down the line about who's going to play full-back.
"We've just go to try and do the best we can."
