Catalans Dragons have pledged to co-operate with police after five of their players were detained in Leeds following a disturbance which left two men in hospital.
The quintet were among nine men arrested following a disturbance in Boar Lane, in the city centre, at 2.15am on Monday morning.
Players from the French Super League club had been in Leeds following Sunday's 28-20 defeat to Wakefield Wildcats.
"The club are co-operating fully with the police in their investigations," read a club statement.
"The club will make no further comment at this stage."
