Super Leage Dream XIII announced
The engage Super League Dream Team of 2009 has been named, with Hull Kingston Rovers contributing the most names.In a team that has often been dominated by Super League's top two, eight debutants from across the board have been named amongst the best 13 players in the country.
Ben Galea, Clint Newton, Michael Dobson and Peter Fox of the Robins have all been named in the side after a successful year in East Hull.
Beaten Challenge Cup finalists and third-placed side Huddersfield contribute two names, with three coming from League Leaders Leeds.
St Helens centre Matt Gidley is the only Knowsley Road occupant to make the team, while Wigan's young stand-off Sam Tomkins was rewarded for his exceptional form in the second half of the season by being named alongside Dobson as the best half-back in the league.
